Based on the 1977 Indianapolis hostage standoff involving Tony Kiritsis, the film does a good job of balancing the seriousness of the situation with the offbeat personality of Tony as a person. Very tense moments and also moments of levity to where you actually empathize with Tony's plight. </p>
